Ingredients for Marinade:

250 gms Boneless Chicken pieces

1/2 Egg

1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste

1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder

1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
-
1 tbsp Coriander (Kothmir)

1 pinch Red Food Colouring
-
Salt(To Taste)

Ingredients for coating batter:
-
1/4 cup Plain Flour (Maida)
-
1 tbsp Corn flour
-
1 pinch Salt
-
Water (As required)

ingredients for sauce:
-
150 gms Yogurt (Dahi)
-
5 Green chilli
-
12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)

1 pinch Red Food Colouring
-
Salt
-
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Marinate chicken pieces with the ingredients listed for marination. (beat the egg before adding it to the marinade.) Keep aside for upto 1 hour. |

In a bowl mix together plain flour and corn flour along with some salt and water. Make a thin batter. |

Add the chicken pieces to the batter and deep fry for 2 mins on each side. (You only want to create a covering at this point) |

Mix together yogurt, salt and a pinch of red food coloring and beat it until smooth. |

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add curry leaves and green chilli to it. Cook for a minute and add yogurt. |

Cook till water separates from the yogurt. Add the fried chicken at this point. |

Cook for five mins on medium heat. Cover with a lid and cook until the chicken is thoroughly cooked. Uncover and cook again for 2 mins or until dry. |
